Availability: I am currently unavailable to take on any new commercial hires until September, 2009, and that only a few selected personal commissions will be accepted between August, 2008 and September, 2009. To check the status of your hire or my hire schedule, please view the hire listing in the column to the right. Bookings are essential.

Subject Matter: I paint artworks similar to in theme to those you see on this website. My latest commissions can be found in the greek mythology gallery or in my Journal.

Portraits: I will happily do portraits, but several clear high resolution photographs will be required. It must also be said that while I will always strive to capture a realistic likeness I am not a portrait artist and most times a passing resemblance is all I can and will achieve. For me, it's not about capturing a perfect likeness, but more capturing the essence of magick we each have within us.

Sizing: I work with the following sizes - 2.5"x3.5" (ACEO) 5"x7", 5.5"x8.5, 6"x8", 8"x10", 8.5"x11.5", 11"x14", 11.75"x16.75", and 16"x20". The subject range I will paint on the smaller sizes up to 8"x10" are limited to partial body, i.e. dragon head, neck and partial body, or human/fairy head to waist/thigh artworks. Full body subjects are only available on 8"x10" and larger.

Media: I work with many different mediums - Acrylics, digital, graphite, coloured pencil, and watercolours.

Pricing: Prices are dependent upon several factors -- medium, size, complexity, and the number of hours the project will take from start to finish. Prices will be higher for those artworks with detailed backgrounds and/or those that depict more than one character or creature.

Rights: Unless special arrangements are made I retain all rights to the artworks created. If the artwork is of a suitable subject nature I reserve the right post the artwork in my portfolio and to make prints and derivative products. Portraits and illustrations based on family photographs will not be used unless it is with the blessing of the client. At this time I do not sell the copyrights to any of my works. Commercial licensing rights can be purchased, but full copyright will always remain with myself, the artist.

Payment: Payment is accepted by credit card through http://wwwpaypal.com or Australian clients can pay by cheque or money order directly to myself. Payments are requested in three stages. The first payment is a 20% booking fee. I usually have upwards of a 6 month waiting list and the booking fee holds your placement in the list. It is non-refundable and is forfieted if you choose to cancel the hire prior to commencement. Once the hire begins, the booking fee is deducted from the overall hire cost. A second payment of 40% is requested upon approval of the linework. Once approval has been given, and the payment made, this portion is also non-refundable. The remaining 40% + shipping and insurance will be requested upon completion of the painting and the client's approval of the finished artwork. Again, once approval has been given by the client no refunds will be given.

Shipping: Shipping of the finished artwork is an additional cost and is the responsibility of the client. I use registered international air mail or EMS couriers to ship original artworks. Cost for shipping and insurance is usually between US$25.00 and US$50.00, depending on the size and value of the artwork.

Refunds: Refunds will not be given on commissions. Artworks damaged in transit to the client will only be refunded if insurance has been nominated by the client. No refunds will be given on artworks shipped without insurance.

Commission Queries: If you have further questions that are not answered here, or you would like to organise a personal or commercial hire with me, please just use the form below to contact me. I will endeavour to have a reply to you within 24 to 72 hours. Please be specific as to your questions and/or hire details.
